As described in the title. I install the ASR flap control with ssa memory. But I screwed up. Terrible.

Was hoping a kind person might have a suggestion on how to solve.

I couldn't pull the pin out at all and the wire snapped. It would be best if I could still pull the pin out. Right now I'm trying to find a way to twist the two ends together without them coming loose. Very difficult with such small, short wires.

I'm considering taking it to a workshop (not Audi official / AMAG) but I want to make sure they don't register with the registration office that I've made modifications to the car. Any suggestions?20230402_113119.jpg

Sieht aus wie der Stecker der Schalterleiste, bei meinem 8V jedoch etwas anders. Die Pin‘s lassen sich meist an irgendeiner Stelle entriegeln, wie im Beispiel im anhängendem Foto.

Pooh. I wish I had known about this tool or thought of it beforehand. It looked so easy in the installation video.

Thank you for the answer and the link. How confident are you that this is the right tool? I've seen that there are other similar tools out there, but I'm honestly quite stumped.

Thanks again!

Looks like the switch panel connector, but slightly different on my 8V. The pins can usually be unlocked at any point, as in the example in the attached photo.
Thank you for your reply. I think it's different on 8y. I had to push in that tiny bit of metal in front to push the pin down and then I was supposed to pull the wire out 4mm and then I could push where you tell it to. In my case I didn't push the pin release down properly before pulling the 4mm forward. Such a mistake. I am so angry and upset.

Normally ASR delivers the flap control with a small unlocking tool.
You have to push the tool in the small hole and then push it gently upwards.
Took me quite a time to figure it out.
On the 8V it was easier.
